Not Your Typical IT Guys

So I was reading a blog on another Technology Consulting firms site, titled “Where is this link going? Click Here.”  It was all about not using “Click Here” anywhere on your web site.  And it made a lot of great points and even made me do a  quick search on our site for any “Click Here’s.”  Fortunately i had none.

So I went back to the blog to make a comment about how I had been inspired by the post and even searched my own site to make sure I hadn’t made the mistake they were commenting on.  I tried to click the link to post a comment and this is what it looked like:

OK, so if you are an IT geek by now you know what virtualization is.  But believe it or not it applies to so much more than just an IT Geek.  I just met with the founder of My Virtual COO, she then met with a virtual CFO and it just hit me, we are a virtual CTO.  In addition I recently provided a proposal to a virtual administrative services company.  And finally I am preparing to do a presentation on the virtual world of Second Life at the American Institute of CPA’s annual Technology Conference.  How’s that for virtualization that has nothing to due with hypervisors or Operating Systems??

So the question I have is this… with so many opportunities to go virtual is there really value??

Personally I think absolutely 100% YES!  The beauty of all of us virtual bodies is we can focus on what we are experts in.  Our success is tied directly to our ability to see what is going on around us and apply it to your company.  If you hire directly any once of our positions how long does it take for that person to become confined to the walls of their office and lose that perspective? 

So is anyone out their virtualizing their companies??
